Well I have been here on Deviantart for a couple years now and yet this is my first journal entry. I don't even know if anyone is even going to read this (laughter). Well it's winter semester right now at school but I didn't sign up for it. the semester is really short and they had no classes that I wanted, but I still have to go for some high school classes.

I should probably explain what the whole college/high school this is. During my second year of HS there was this program where juniors and seniors could go to a college full time. They would be taking both HS and college classes, and if they worked really hard they could get their AA before or at the same time they graduate HS.

Lucky me I signed up months before the two teachers running the program promoted it at my HS. The teachers went to about three to four HS sending out applications. About 200 applications were sent in, but I was one of the first to get an interview. I'm almost done with my junior year now, and I have yet to think twice on my choice to leave HS and into this program. One of the best thing I could have ever done for myself.

But at the moment while the other student are taking their required HS class (juniors and seniors), my friend and I who had already taken those classes have been assigned something else. One of our teachers Jen is giving us the chance to get all our credits for fine arts witch is making it very easy for us. There is 5 credits in all and the college classes only offer about 1 to 3 credits per class. So were getting ours done in one shot.... kinda. We have to find 5 artists (doesn't matter who they are) and write a 3-5 page essay on them. who they are what kinda art they do and why. Then we pick 3 pieces of their art and imitate it using the same or different style they used. We have until May 8 to finish.

So if ANYONE does read this and they have some good ideas on some really cool artistes just leave me a comment.
